Terms & Conditions


  • Membership is free and upon joining new members will receive a starting balance of 15 club points and become Standard tier members.
  • Upon earning 450 Club points within a 12 month period members will automatically be upgraded to Gold membership “the Gold Upgrade Date”.
  • Gold Club membership is retained for anyone earning 450 points within the 12 month period preceding the anniversary of the Gold Upgrade Date.
  • Standard members receive advance notice on seasonal promotions, gain access to the Club reservations service and have the ability to earn points when staying at Hand Picked Hotels and redeem points for reward vouchers as published on the Hand Picked Website.
  • Gold members receive additional benefits including a welcome drink up to the value of £8.00 on arrival at a Hand Picked Hotel, a free upgrade to the next room type available on arrival, fruit in room, a newspaper of their choice, 10% discount on health & beauty treatments during a stay and points earned at a preferential rate.
  • An upgrade to the next room type is not available for promotions where a complimentary or discounted upgrade has been included in the offer.
  • Please quote your membership number each time you make a reservation and present your membership card at both check in and check out to ensure you receive any points or benefits due to you.
  • Club membership, associate and individual, may be excluded for certain corporate rates. Please check with the Hotel's Sales Manager or General Manager for more information.


  • Points are awarded on total spend on hotel services (accommodation, food & beverage, and spa treatments charged to the room) at the following rates: standard membership 1 point per £8, gold membership 1 point per £6 and associate membership 1 point per £15.
  • The maximum number of points awarded for any one booking or event (the total spend) shall not exceed 450 points. Business events and special occasion celebrations qualify however weddings and wedding related spend do not.
  • For all stays and events Club Membership cards must be swiped by reception on departure for points to be automatically added to the Loyalty Club account. 
  • Wedding couples who marry at a Hand Picked Hotel will receive Gold Membership immediately. However no points will be awarded for the wedding or wedding related spend.
  • Points may be awarded in conjunction with other special offer promotions at the group or individual hotel’s discretion. 
  • Reward points will only be backdated for a maximum of 6 months. To claim reward points retrospectively members should email details of the stays in question including confirmation number, stay dates, membership number, hotel and customer name to This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Club points earned prior to 31 December 2009 will expire on the 1st January 2012. From 1st January 2010 Club points will only be valid for a period of two calendar years after points were earned.
  • Loyalty points and Club benefits are not valid at our Partner Hotels.
  • Points will not be awarded for bookings made via online travel agents or travel industry tour operators.
  • Points will only be awarded for bookings made directly with Hand Picked Hotels unless there has been prior agreement in writing from Hand Picked Hotels in advance of the booking.
  • Points cannot be awarded to an individual Standard or Gold member where an Associate Member has claimed for the same event.
  • Point can not yet be earned or redeemed at Fawsley Hall Hotel.


  • Loyalty points cannot be redeemed at L’Horizon Hotel & Spa from 1 May to 30 September.
  • The redemption of all awards is subject to allocation and availability and must be preceded by a prior confirmed points redemption booking for the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to charge the full appropriate rate should a member attempt to redeem an award without such a prior confirmed booking. To book a redemption reward customers should contact the Club Service on 0845 458 0903.
  • Members have the facility to nominate a third party when requesting award vouchers.  Once issued, a voucher can only be redeemed by the named bearer and is not transferable.
  • Club reward vouchers, once issued, are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be cancelled or changed.
  • Club offers will specifically state points required for redemption and dates applicable.
  • Points are redeemed against voucher offers only communicated in the loyalty club section of the website. Points may not be used in conjunction with other offers.
  • Any tax implications are the responsibility of the individual member and not The Club.
  • Point can not yet be redeemed or earned at Fawsley Hall Hotel.
